Endüstriyel Ethernet switch'leri, saha ağının omurgasıdır: PLC, HMI, sürücü ve kameraları birbirine bağlar; DIN ray montajı, geniş sıcaklık aralığı ve 24 V beslemeyle ofis switch'lerinden ayrılır. Yönetilmeyen tipler tak-çalıştır kolaylık, yönetilen tipler VLAN/teşhis/yedekli halka gibi ağ işlevleri sunar.

Seçimde port sayısı ve hızı (100 Mbit/1 Gbit), fiber ihtiyacı (SFP yuvası) ve yönetim seviyesi esastır. PROFINET/EtherNet-IP gibi endüstriyel protokollerde belirleyici olabilecek özellikler (öncelik, halka yedekliliği) yönetilen modellerin alanıdır; halka (ring) topolojisi tek kablo kopmasında ağı ayakta tutar.

PoE'li sürümler kamera ve erişim noktalarını switch üzerinden besler; besleme bütçesi port başına ve toplamda doğrulanmalıdır.

Ağ büyüyüp teşhis, VLAN ayrımı, halka yedekliliği ya da PROFINET önceliklendirmesi gerektiğinde. Birkaç cihazlı düz makine ağında yönetilmeyen switch yeterli ve ekonomiktir.

Ofis switch'i panoda kullanılabilir mi?

Önerilmez: besleme (230 V adaptör), sıcaklık dayanımı, montaj ve titreşim açısından pano ortamına uygun değildir. Endüstriyel tipler 24 V'tan beslenir, ray'a takılır ve geniş sıcaklıkta kesintisiz çalışır.

Halka (ring) topolojisi ne kazandırır?

Kablonun tek noktadan kopmasında ağın milisaniyeler içinde alternatif yoldan toparlanmasını: hat topolojide kopan nokta arkasını düşürür, halkada düşürmez. Halka için yönetilen ve aynı yedeklilik protokolünü konuşan switch'ler gerekir.
